Este programa transformar\u00e1 el \u00e1rea en un barrio productivo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El \u00e1rea de trabajo est\u00e1 definida por una topograf\u00eda abrupta y limitada por tres l\u00edneas: Av. do Pasaxe, la v\u00eda del tren y el borde mar\u00edtimo. Es un ecosistema donde se superponen dos niveles, uno metropolitano, representado por la existencia de grandes v\u00edas de comunicaci\u00f3n y equipamientos p\u00fablicos de escala territorial situados sin orden aparente. El otro nivel se relaciona m\u00e1s con la vida vinculada a la r\u00eda y al barrio de las Xubias. En sentido longitudinal se resuelve el problema de aparcamiento, se proponen dos paradas para el tren de cercan\u00edas (una en el nuevo parque y otra en la plaza de As Xubias), as\u00ed como una red de paseos peatonales. En sentido transversal aparece el puente a Santa Cristina (que ser\u00e1 un nuevo enlace interurbano) y las conexiones a los equipamientos sanitarios. Estas medidas transformar\u00e1n el barrio de As Xubias en un nuevo nodo urbano libre de coches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se plantean iniciativas p\u00fablicas que mejoren las condiciones de la vivienda existente, que atraigan nueva poblaci\u00f3n, al tiempo que se reubican los residentes del asentamiento irregular.
